A short bus trip to join the Coast Path at Polmear (NB on Bank Holidays this will be substituted with a cross country walk to Polkerris) then walk on rugged terrain across low cliff tops, crossing streams and visiting the tiny harbour of Polkerris.
Many connections with Daphne du Maurier and her novels can be made on this headland.
Climbing higher, with expansive views across St Austell Bay to Gribbin Head then returning via Polridmouth Cove to Fowey, with a castle visit at the end of this 6 mile walk, time permitting.
